The Manufacturer field is used to search, enter and maintain details about a manufacturer of the product. Multiple manufacturers can be entered against a product.

Manufacturers are found by searching for the manufacturer by location and name or id. In the manufacturer field select whether the manufacturer is an Australian or overseas manufacturer, Enter the manufacturer Id number or name and single click the relevant "Search" button. If searching by name only part of a name is required to perform a search. A list of manufacturers matching the search criteria will be returned. Select the manufacturer from the drop down list.

Search Option	Description
Whole of Field	The manufacturer name must match the entered name exactly.
Start of Field	The start of the manufacturer name must match the entered characters.
Any Part of the Field	The manufacturer name must contain the entered characters.

Field Descriptions:

	Label	Description
	Name:	Select the manufacturer name from the drop down list.
	ID:	Displays the id number of the manufacturer selected.
	Location:	Select the location of the manufacturer from the drop down list.
	Manufacturing Steps:	Check a manufacturing step check box to add a manufacturing step to the selected manufacturer. Multiple manufacturing steps can be added.
